For the last one year, Canada has been continuously making statements against India. The latest statement by Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has created tension between the two countries. India is also taking strict action on Canada's statement on Khalistani Hardeep Singh Nijjar issue. India has expelled 6 Canadian diplomats. Seeing this attitude of India towards Canada, India is in a mood to teach Canada a proper lesson.
How will India teach a lesson?
Talking about trade relations between Canada and India, India exports many goods to Canada on a large scale. Bilateral trade worth about Rs 67 crore. Therefore, due to this tension, trade is in danger but India can teach Canada a lesson in another way and that is the 51st G7 summit to be held next year. In which many countries including India will be the guests of Canada. Because Canada has to host the G7 summit.
The 51st G7 summit will be held in Canada
Importantly, the G7 countries include Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the US and the European Union. But every year many other countries are invited to its meeting. India was also invited to the 50th summit held in Italy last year, where Indian PM Modi was warmly welcomed by Italian PM Giorgia Meloni. After this, India can teach a lesson to Canada by boycotting the G7 summit to be held in Canada next year. From the reaction of the Ministry of External Affairs after Trudeau's statement, it seems that India may take some strict action against Canada.
Trudeau accused India
Speaking on the Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case, Trudeau said, “We don't want this fight, but obviously the murder of a Canadian on Canadian soil is not something we can ignore as a country. We have clear and solid evidence. Agents of the Indian government engaged in activities that pose a threat to public safety He said the RCMP met with Indian officials to share evidence, concluding that six agents of the Indian government were involved in criminal activities. He rejected these allegations as baseless. The Ministry of External Affairs said that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is trying to tarnish India's image by making such baseless allegations due to his political agenda.
