Indefinite strike of Dhibra workers continues for sixth day in Koderma


Koderma, 17 February (Hindustan Reporter). The indefinite strike of Dhibra workers at the Collectorate from 12th February continued for the sixth day on 17th February. On the sixth day of the indefinite strike, SDO Riya Singh called the leaders of Dhibra Scrap Mazdoor Union twice for talks. SDO became aware of the demands of the agitators. The SDO suggested to consider the demands of the union soon and end the strike.

Here, SP Anudeep Singh also talked to the leaders of Dhibra Scrap Mazdoor Union in the office. Talks with the administration failed and Dhibra workers announced to continue the strike. District President of Dhibra Scrap Mazdoor Union, Krishna Ghatwar said that the movement will continue until the sealed Dhibra godowns are opened. This time it is a one-to-one fight. The movement will not stop merely on verbal assurances from the administration.
