New Delhi, July 08 (HS). Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Monday invited entries for the Startup Competition-2024. Apart from the students of the university, alumni can also apply for it. The last date for application is 31 July. IGNOU issued a statement stating that as a part of the Innovation Council (IIC) calendar activity of the university, IIC-IGNOU is organizing the Startup Competition-2024 for IGNOU students and alumni. Entries for the first round of Startup Competition-2024 can be submitted till July 31 through the link: https://forms.gle/ZUoWs6AhRyVEfmr29. All IGNOU students and alumni who have established a startup or business venture, or are in the advanced stage of establishing a startup or business venture, are invited to submit details of their startup or business venture for the Startup Competition-2024.
The Startup Competition-2024 will be held in two rounds. In the first round, information about the Startup, BusinessVenture or becoming a Startup, Business Venture is to be submitted through Google Form. The submitted entries will be screened and shortlisted for the second round by an expert committee. In the second round, the shortlisted students, alumni have to pitch their Startup, Business as per the template to be given after the completion of the first round. Finally, the selected Startup, Business Venture or becoming a Startup, Business Venture will be given the Best Startup Award-2024.
