Ahmedabad: In the last financial year, Rs. 100 crore were invested in hybrid mutual fund schemes. An investment of Rs 1.45 lakh crore was made. In which net withdrawal was seen in the last financial year 2022-23.
In March 2024, the number of investors in this segment reached 1.35 crore, which was 1.21 crore a year ago. This shows the inclination of investors towards hybrid funds.
Hybrid funds are mutual fund schemes that generally invest in a combination of equity and debt securities and sometimes in other asset categories such as gold. The category has been attracting regular investments since the change in taxation for debt funds from the beginning of FY 2023-24 in April. Earlier in March, this segment had Rs. A net outflow of Rs 12,372 crore was seen.
According to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India, the hybrid category in the last financial year was worth Rs. A net inflow of Rs 1.45 lakh crore was seen, while in FY 2022-23 it was Rs. There was an outflow of Rs 18,813 crore.
