How to change default Google account in Android phone, know the steps

If you are using an Android device, be it a smartphone or tablet, you need to log in to a Google account to access all the features. You can download apps and games from Play Store, save passwords, log in to different apps only after logging in to your Google account. Google account is necessary for all this.

Google account login is required to fully utilize the smartphone. However, often you have to use two different Google accounts on the same phone, which requires you to switch account logins. In other words, you need to change Google account in Android phone or tablet. Here are the steps on how this can be done.

Follow the steps below to change Google account in Android devices. However, there are two ways to change Google account on Android devices as well.

1) Delete the existing Google account and keep the account you want to use.

If your phone already has a different Google account login, you can delete a default account. Due to which the remaining Google account will automatically become the default account. Google follows the chronology of when an account was added to your phone. Therefore, while deleting the current account, you have to be careful which account you are deleting.

Step 1: First of all, go to Settings in your Android phone.

Step 2: Now scroll down and tap on Google options.

Step 3: Now tap on the arrow visible next to the Default account option.

Step 4: Now click on Manage account on this device.

Step 5: Find your existing default account and tap on it.

Step 6: Now double click on remove account option. Then your account will be removed.

2) Add the account you want and remove the default account.

If you only have one Google Account, and you want to add another account, follow these steps.

Step 1: First of all go to your phone's settings.

Step 2: Now scroll down and click on Google Options.

Step 3: Now click on the arrow appearing next to Current Default Account.

Step 4: Now tap Add another account.

Step 5: Now log in to Google account by entering ID password.
