65-year-old Zaved Khan, who has been doing zardosi and marodi work for the last 50 years in Pakhli Chowk, Dholka, says that children learn by watching this work. Work is available from Ahmedabad, Surat and Mumbai. An artisan earns an average of Rs 1000 per day. Since the entire family is doing this work along with the women of the house, they are earning good income.
