Quetta: On the eve of Pakistan's 77th Independence Day, at least three people were killed in a grenade attack on a shop selling Pakistan's national flag and the shopkeeper's house. While 6 have suffered serious injuries.

Separatist group Babuch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack.

BLA members had warned the shopkeeper not to sell Pakistani flags for a few days before the attack, but he ignored the warning and continued selling Pakistani flags. So this BLA was the real Jinnao on him.

It is well known that on 14 August 1947 the British gave independence to Pakistan, a country separated from India.

Regarding the incident that took place yesterday evening in Quetta, Government Hospital spokesperson Wasim Beg said that 3 dead bodies and 6 injured were brought to the hospital late last evening.

At the time of the incident, Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir was in the north-eastern part of the country. When this news was sent to him, he said in a televised speech after addressing the military academy there that he has vowed to suppress this insurgency.

It is noteworthy that separatist activities have been going on in Pakistan's Sindh and Balochistan for the last few years, ever since China took over the Gwadar development project and started teaching Chinese language in the colleges of Karachi, since then small and big riots have been going on continuously in Sindh and Balochistan, especially in Balochistan.
