Lucknow, June 10 (HS). As a representative of the state Governor Anandiben Patel, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde inaugurated the renovated auditorium of the North Central Zone Cultural Center, Prayagraj through virtual medium from Raj Bhavan.

While reading the Governor's address, the Additional Chief Secretary described India as a country with a unique example of unity in diversity and a country in the world where multifaceted arts are nurtured and flourished together. Expressing concern over the disappearing folk arts and singing, research and training were said to be necessary for its revival.

In the Governor's address, happiness was expressed over the performance and achievements of cultural programmes on various platforms of the North Central Zone Cultural Centre and the world record of 1051 conch players playing conches simultaneously on the occasion of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, G-20 cultural programme, inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was described as an achievement of the Cultural Centre.

While reading the Governor's address, the Additional Chief Secretary said that there is no age for learning and the Cultural Centre should organize camps for people of different age groups. The children receiving training at the Cultural Centre will benefit from their experiences. He said that the construction of the auditorium will lead to the development of folk arts and this centre is making the state proud by making its unparalleled contribution in the development of arts and practitioners.

In the function organized on the occasion of inauguration, a cultural programme based on the culture of different states was presented by the artists of NCZCC.
