The state government will construct 16 hostels for Scheduled Caste students in different districts. For this, Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 16 crore.
With this approval of Shri Gehlot, Scheduled Caste Girls Hostel in Beawar, Gangapur City, Pratapgarh and Bhawanimandi of Jhalawar, Baharwanda of Dausa, Malakheda of Alwar, Suratgarh of Sriganganagar, Raipur of Beawar, Kanaud of Udaipur, Savitribai Phule Scheduled Caste Girls Hostel in Kuchaman City. Hostels will be constructed.
Besides, Scheduled Caste Boys Hostels will be constructed at Kalyanpur and Sriganganagar in Pachpadra, Ambedkar Scheduled Caste Boys Hostels at Phalsund in Jaisalmer, Uniara in Tonk, Jaitasar in Churu and Ausian in Jodhpur Rural.
The construction of each hostel building will cost Rs 1 crore. This will provide a better environment for studies to Scheduled Caste students. They will be able to build their bright future.
