LPG Price: Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in the country and assembly elections in some states in the coming few months. The remaining cost of the gas cylinder will be borne by the BJP ruled state government. To avail the subsidy, gas connection holders will have to purchase gas cylinders at market price. Later the remaining amount of subsidy will be transferred to the bank account of the gas connection holders. It has been said in the government order that consumers who want to take advantage of this process will have to buy cylinders at market rates. Along with this, the subsidy given by the Government of India and any reduction in the market rate determined by the State Government will be transferred to the bank accounts of the consumers.

Let us tell you that the announcement of reduction in LPG gas cylinder rate was made a day before PM Modi’s visit to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, those Ladli Brahmins who already have gas connection will be registered on the Ladli Brahmin Yojana portal. They can also be beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. According to the government order, the registration process will be conducted at all the centers designated for Ladli Brahmin Scheme.

Some documents are also required to register in it. In this, the documents required for registration currently require gas connection consumer number and LPG connection ID. Registration ID for Ladli Brahman Scheme will be generated on the basis of data received from all the oil companies to identify the beneficiaries under this scheme.

Information of registered beneficiaries will be shown on the portal from 25 September 2023 and will also be updated continuously. Registered beneficiaries can check this information on the portal from September 25, 2023, using their gas consumer number/gas connection ID and Laadli Brahmin ID, the release said.
