Delhi Police has arrested two people from Rajasthan and seized 21.6 kg of ganja worth Rs 21.5 lakh from them. The accused were arrested on December 23 from Vihar Mohan Garden area of Delhi. Another addict named Ashok has a criminal history and three cases of robbery and theft registered against him. He told that the accused was working as a drug smuggler in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
A police officer said that the police team found a car in which two people were traveling. When the car was searched, 21.6 kg of ganja was recovered. Both have been identified as Kamal Singh (33) and Ashok Kumar (26), residents of Alwar, Rajasthan. He told that Kamal is a history-sheeter and 25 cases are registered against him under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Arms Act and attempt to murder.
