On Tuesday morning, at Ahmedpur toll plaza situated on Ayodhya National Highway, former SP block pramukh got into a dispute with toll workers over taking out the vehicle from the closed lane. During this, the people of the former pramukh beat up the toll plaza workers with kicks and gun butts, in which two people were seriously injured. After the incident, both the parties reached Zaidpur police station. At present, the police is investigating on the basis of the complaint. Let us tell you that these days CCTV, sensors, hooter, fastag scanner and other equipment are being replaced at Ahmedpur toll plaza. The lane on which the equipment is replaced has been closed. Meanwhile, a car reached the closed lane and people got out of it and started coming out by raising the boom. When toll workers Ashutosh Soni (28), Somendra Mishra (30) and guard Sitakant Dwivedi refused, a dispute started. At this, the vehicle stopped in front of the toll. In a short while, some more people came to the toll plaza on an SUV and two motorcycles. Soon, a fight started with the toll workers. Meanwhile, one of the attackers took out a gun from the SUV and started hitting the toll workers with the butt. Ashutosh Soni and Somendra Mishra were seriously injured in the attack.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent both the workers to the district hospital. Meanwhile, the SUV had left for Ramsnehi Ghat and the car for Barabanki. Toll plaza manager Jitendra Bahadur Singh has reached Zaidpur police station regarding the matter. Police station in-charge Amit Pratap Singh said that a complaint has been received from the toll workers against the former chief and unknown people. Action will be taken after investigating the matter.
