Varanasi, June 26 (HS). Former Mahant of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Dr Kulpati Tiwari is no more. He breathed his last on Wednesday evening in a private hospital in Ravindrapuri. He was ill for a long time. On getting the news of Mahant Dr Tiwari's death, a wave of grief spread among the devotees of Lord Shiva.
His body was brought to his ancestral home in Tedhinim. According to the family members, his last rites will be performed at Manikarnika Ghat. The last journey will start from the Mahant residence in Tedhinim.
