For the past few days, there has been a lot of snowfall in the hill tourist places of India. A beautiful view of snow-capped mountains is becoming viral on social media. Indian Railways also posted breathtaking views of train stations. The official Twitter handle of the Ministry of Railways posted a video of a train entering the snow-clad Sadura railway station in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, which shows freezing temperatures taking its toll. Services have not been affected.

The ministry also shared a video of the Kalka-Shimla rail route and wrote, ‘Amazing view of the world famous Kalka-Shimla rail route: near Taradevi station on UNESCO declared heritage ‘Kalka-Shimla’ route. The special passenger toy train passing through tunnel number 91 remains the center of attraction for the tourists. The videos are doing rounds on the microblogging platform, leaving the netizens stunned. Many said that it is hard to believe that the clips are from India as it often appears in countries in Europe.

People were surprised when they saw the video of snowfall
One user said, ‘It is a heaven-like experience. I have been to Shimla twice, both times we used the toy train!’ Another wrote, ‘This is better than Europe, this is heaven.’ A third user said, ‘Thank you for sharing a beautiful view with this picture of railway with us, it is a rare sight.’ Yet another user said, ‘Snow on wheels.’ Earlier, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav posted stunning pictures of the snow-clad Srinagar railway station on Twitter and called it a ‘heaven on earth’. Railway Minister Vaishnav captioned the pictures, ‘If there is heaven on earth, it is here, it is here, it is here. #SrinagarRailwayStation.’
