Samastipur, 26 April (HS). Under the SVEEP program in the district, a foot march was organized from the Collectorate main gate to BRB College Samastipur as part of the voter awareness campaign. This included Jeevika Didis, Anganwadi Sevikas/Sahayikas, Vikas Mitra, children of Kishore Kishori group, Asha workers, school children, personnel of all the departments of the Collectorate.
The foot march was flagged off from the main gate of the Collectorate by Municipal Commissioner Kumar Devendra Projwal, Additional Collector Ajay Kumar Tiwari and Deputy Development Commissioner Sandeep Shekhar Priyadarshi. About 500 people participated in this foot march. All the people involved in this appealed to the voters to exercise their vote definitely. All voters were made aware to exercise their franchise on 13th May. Oath related to voting was administered to everyone at BRB College, Samastipur.
