This incident apparently happened just two days before the national convention of the right-wing party Republican Party. This series of firing happened when his party was about to declare him as the presidential candidate in that convention. Trump was standing on the stage at that time. But on hearing the sound of bullets, he went down from the podium and hid. However, a bullet hit him above his right ear, causing blood to splatter on his face, especially on the right side. Meanwhile, the guard shot the shooter. Trump stood up. At that time the guards also supported him.
But Trump is Trump. Even after this, he showed his hatred by pointing his fist. The American flag was also seen in the CCTV footage at that time.
Trump then thanked the US Secret Service and law enforcement officials and praised their quick action. He further said that as soon as I heard those crackling sounds I felt something was going wrong, a bullet passed over my right ear and when the blood started flowing I realized what was happening. God bless America.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is very worried about the shooting of his friend Donald Trump.
The man who tried to kill Trump has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crook, his age is said to be 20 years. He was registered as a Republican voter (in Pennsylvania) and was a resident of Bethel Park. He also donated $15 to the Republican Party when Trump was sworn in on January 20, 2021. But the question remains unanswered as to why he shot at Trump.
Surprisingly, the young man who fired the bullet at Trump's rally was called a math wizard in school. He also received a prize of $500.
