Labanon Blast: Eight people were killed and 2750 injured in a series of pager blasts in Lebanon on Tuesday. Security sources said that the blast was caused by the pagers of Hezbollah fighters. They used to communicate with each other through these pagers. Someone hacked these pagers and caused them to explode. Hezbollah fighters have also been killed in the blast. Many doctors and the Iranian ambassador were also injured in the blast. Many videos of the pager blast are also going viral on social media.

Israel blamed for blast
Lebanon's Information Minister Ziad Makri condemned the pager blasts as an “Israeli attack”. Hezbollah also blamed Israel for the pager blasts and said it would respond appropriately when the time comes. The Israeli military declined to comment on Reuters' inquiries about the blasts.

Videos of pager blasts have surfaced. This seems to be the case from some CCTV footage. In which a pager kept in a bag in a shop suddenly exploded. According to Al Jazeera, Lebanon's Health Minister Firas Abiad said that 200 people are in critical condition due to the Pager explosion. Several videos are rapidly going viral on social media, showing the explosion, its aftermath and the chaos in Lebanon's hospitals.

Biggest security breach
A Hezbollah official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the pager explosion was the biggest security breach by the group in the nearly year-long conflict with Israel. Hezbollah confirmed the deaths of at least three people, including two of its fighters, in a statement. The cause of the explosions is being investigated. Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has been detained.
