News India Live, Digital Desk: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a major update regarding the written examination to be conducted for the recruitment of 41,424 Home Guard volunteers. The board has made ‘Exam City Intimation Slip’ live for the candidates on the official website. This is a relief news for lakhs of youth waiting for this recruitment examination. Candidates can now know through their registration number and date of birth in which district of the state their examination will be conducted.
Exam will be held in 74 districts between 25th to 27th April
As per the official schedule of the recruitment board, the written examination for Home Guard Recruitment will be conducted on 25, 26 and 27 April 2026. This examination will be conducted in offline mode (OMR based) at the examination centers set up in 74 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will run from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm. The board has made it clear that this is only information about the city, it should not be considered as an admit card.
When will the admit card be released? note down the date
There is a question in the minds of the candidates that when will their final admit card (Hall Ticket) come? As per the board rules, admit cards will be released exactly three days before the exam date. That means, the candidates appearing for the exam on 25th April will be able to download their admit card from 22nd April. Detailed information like name of the examination centre, address and reporting time will be given in the admit card itself. It will be mandatory for the candidates to carry a valid photo identity card (like Aadhar Card or Voter ID) along with the admit card to the examination centre.
‘e-KYC’ and tight security for cheating-free exams
Yogi government has made strict security arrangements to make this recruitment examination completely transparent and cheating-free. Along with biometric attendance, e-KYC verification will also be done at the examination centres. Candidates have been advised to keep their ‘Aadhaar Status’ unlocked so that there is no hindrance in verification at the centre. Instructions have been given to conduct this examination under the surveillance of CCTV cameras and alertness of the police force.
