English Premier League: Palmer's second hat-trick, Chelsea beats Everton 6-0

With the help of midfielder Cole Palmer's second consecutive hat-trick, Chelsea defeated Everton 6-0 in the English Premier League match. Palmer completed his hat-trick of goals in the first 30 minutes of the match. After scoring goals in the 13th, 19th and 29th minutes, he converted a penalty in the 64th minute. Apart from Palmer, Nicholas Jackson scored for Chelsea in the 44th minute and Alfie Gilchrist scored in the 90th minute. Palmer also became the first Chelsea player to score in seven consecutive home matches. Chelsea are in ninth place with 47 points from 31 matches and Everton are in 16th place with 27 points from 32 matches. It is noteworthy that Palmer also scored a hat-trick of goals against Manchester United on 4 April. His goal tally in the current season has reached 22, breaking Eden Hazard's record of 20 goals in the 2018–19 season.
