Trichy (Tamil Nadu), 11 October (HIST). An Air India plane made an emergency landing this evening at Trichy Airport in Tamil Nadu. This plane was going to Sharjah. After a fault in the hydraulic system of this plane, the plane kept circling in the air for about three hours. During this time emergency was declared. However, the pilot made a safe landing. After this, all 140 passengers came out safely from the plane.
Initial information has revealed that the Air India plane going from Trichy to Sharjah faced a problem in the landing gear. The aircraft was diverted back to Trichy Airport. During this time, after about three hours, due to the wisdom of the pilot, the plane landed safely.
Trichy Airport Director Gopalakrishnan has confirmed the hydraulic failure in the Air India aircraft. He said that the plane was going to Sharjah. There were 140 passengers on board the plane. The plane landed at 8.14 pm. Before this the fuel of the aircraft was reduced. After a technical fault in the plane, the pilot of the plane acted with utmost prudence.
