Kolhapur News: While taking the ‘dead body’ home after being declared dead at an old age hospital in Kolhapur district, an ambulance jumped over the speed breaker and with this the old man’s body came back to life. Because of the speed breaker, it seems as if a dead person has got a new life. Apparently due to the haste of the hospital doctors to declare the old man dead, the case has become a subject of public debate.
Pandurang Ulpe, 65, of Kasba Bavda village in Kolhapur district, was taken to a private hospital by his family after he suffered a heart attack on December 16. Doctors at the hospital examined him and declared him dead. Therefore, preparations were made to take his body from the hospital to home in an ambulance.
Preparations for the funeral had started at the house of the deceased. And the family started crying. However, within no time the situation took an incredible turn.
The deceased’s wife told that when we were taking the body home from the hospital, the ambulance collided with the speed breaker. Suddenly my husband came to life and started moving his fingers. He was immediately taken to another hospital by ambulance and treatment was started immediately.
The senior citizen was kept in another hospital for 15 days and during this time heart angioplasty was also performed. When Vithoba’s devotee Pandurang Ulpe returned home after a fortnight’s treatment, there was an atmosphere of happiness in the house. Recalling the incident of December 16, Pandurang Ulpe said that like every day, I came home in the morning and was sitting comfortably and drinking tea. Suddenly I started feeling dizzy and had a lot of difficulty in breathing. I ran towards the bathroom and vomited there. After this I became unconscious and I don’t even remember who took me to the hospital.
There is talk in Kasba-Bavda village about how the old Warkari was revived. However, the private hospital which declared Pandurang Bapa dead has not given any clarification on this matter.
