A large number of people reached Jama Masjid in the national capital Delhi to offer Namaz. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi offered Namaz of Eid-ul-Azha at Dargah Panja Sharif in Delhi. President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar have earlier congratulated the countrymen on the eve of Eid-uz-Zuha.

The festival of Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated till Wednesday evening. Eid-ul-Azha namaz was offered at Delhi's Jama Masjid at 6 am and at Fatehpuri Masjid at 7:15 am. Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid Dr. Mufti Mukarram Ahmed said that while sacrificing, care should be taken that no one is hurt by it. There is a lot of hustle bustle in the markets of Old Delhi on Eid-ul-Azha. The markets of Old Delhi remained crowded throughout the night.
