
High speed train service between Uttar Pradesh and Haryana is going to start soon, which will make the movement between the two states easier and intensify. The name of this project is Eastern Orbital Rail Corridor (Eastern Orbital Rail Corridor – Eorc), which is the expansion of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor. Recently, the route alignment of this project has been approved in a high -level meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary in Lucknow.

Track Length: Total 135 km

This corridor will be developed on the exterior of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Cities like Ghaziabad, Noida, Baghpat, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Faridabad, Sonipat will be connected to it.

Preparation for feasibility report and DPR

Instructions have been given to prepare the feasibility report of the project.

Soon DPR (detail project report) will also be prepared, which will have a details of budget, timeline and construction scheme.
Jewar Airport and Other Connectivity

EORC will be connected to Jewar Airport.

For this, a new railway track of 98.8 km will be made from Chola to Rundhi.

Connectivity from Dankour to Chola will be developed.

This corridor will connect with Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Rail Line near Duhai, which will make the journey towards Haryana even more easy.
