At the fair, this huge statue of ‘Bajrangi’, which is placed on a cart, reaches Ghantaghar Chowk. Then, on the day of immersion, when the idols of the mother are taken for immersion on the banks of the Gomti River, the statue of ‘Bajrangi’ is already reached at the civil intersection falling on the way. Under their supervision, all the statues are transported to the river ghats. In this way, for more than 25 years, this historic Durga Puja Festival and fair of Sultanpur have been performing itself under the supervision of ‘Bajrangi’. At the end of the fair, the statue of ‘Bajrangi’ is taken to Hanuman Temple in Yogiri, where once again Mahavir Hanuman is worshiped with full devotion.
