Weather of Punjab: The month of November has reached its last week. But despite this, neither the cold is showing its full effect nor it is raining. The minimum temperature of Punjab has been found to be 2.9 degrees above normal and the temperature of Chandigarh has been found to be 1 degree above normal. According to the weather center, there is no possibility of rain in Punjab till the end of November. That means the weather will be dry. Also, no smoke alert was issued in Punjab and Chandigarh for the next two days. But from November 27, there is a possibility of fog once again in some areas of Punjab. An increase in temperature was recorded
Day temperature in Punjab is normal but night temperature is still above normal. The night temperature in Punjab is 2.9 degrees above normal and in most cities the temperature is between 10 to 15 degrees. Whereas the temperature in Chandigarh is 0.7 degrees higher. The Meteorological Center had already announced that the temperature in the month of November will be above normal and the possibility of rain is also very less.
Pollution reached dangerous levels
The pollution level in Punjab is continuously decreasing. The average AQI in Amritsar was recorded at 167, while in Bathinda the AQI was recorded at 87 degrees. AQI was recorded at 206 in Jalandhar, 270 in Mandi Gobindgarh, 156 in Khanna and 171 in Rupnagar.
Along with this, the situation in Chandigarh also remains worrying. The pollution level here has been found to be more than 200 AQI. The average temperature was recorded at 232 degrees in Sector 22, 210 degrees in Sector 25 and 232 degrees in Sector 53.
