driving license: A driving license is legally mandatory to drive a vehicle in India. It is not only an authorized document that allows you to drive on the road but it is also considered a symbol of safety and responsibility. Madhya Pradesh government has provided the facility to the citizens to apply online for getting a driving license. The process is simple, convenient and time saving. Here is a step-by-step guide to apply online for driving license in Madhya Pradesh:
Step 1: Submit required documents
Aadhaar card or Voter ID card or passport, PAN card, residence proof of the applicant (like electricity bill, ration card, Aadhaar card), medical certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner (Form 1 and Form 1A), blood group report, passport Size photograph. (4), driving license fee
Step 2: Visit the website of the transport department
1. Visit the official website of Madhya Pradesh Transport Department: https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/
2. After this go to the menu and select Online Services option.
3. After this select the driving license related service.
4. Then select your state MP.
Step 3: Select Apply for Driving License option in the Driving License Dashboard
1. When you click on the option of Apply for Driving License, a new page will open.
2. On the new page that opens, you will get information about the driving license application steps.
3. Fill all the required information carefully, like Name, Address, Date of Birth, Gender, Contact Information (email, mobile number), Blood Group, Aadhar Number, Upload Documents: Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Residence Proof, Medical Certificate, Blood Group report, passport size photo.
Step 4: Fill the Driving License Application Form
1. Now in the new page that will open, you will have to enter the learner license and generated number.
2. After this, complete your Permanent Driving License application form thoroughly.
3. After this you will have to pay the driving license fees which you can do through online medium.
Step 5: Book a Driving License Test Appointment
1. Now you have filled the application form. After this you will have to book a date for the driving test.
2. Arrive for the driving license test as per the date and time chosen by you.
3. Once you pass this test, your husband will be sent a driving license.
Eligibility for driving license in Madhya Pradesh
To obtain a driving license in Madhya Pradesh, the applicant must fulfill the following eligibility i.e. minimum age should be 16 years for non-geared vehicle (like motorcycle, scooter). Geared vehicles (e.g. cars, trucks): Minimum age 18 years. The applicant must be a citizen of India. The applicant must be mentally and physically fit to drive. They should not be suffering from any disease or disorder that prevents them from driving safely. The applicant must have passed the vision test conducted by the Transport Department.
