Doordarshan anchor fainted on live TV while reporting on heatwave, know the reason

The temperature is increasing rapidly across the country, due to which heat is now becoming a cause of trouble for the people. While narrating the news of rising temperature and heat wave, a Doordarshan anchor suddenly fainted on live TV, due to which there was an atmosphere of chaos in the studio.

The name of Doordarshan anchor is Lopamudra Sinha, who was reading news related to heatwave on live TV on Doordarshan and during this time she fainted. Later he gave information about his health. Let us tell you that Lopamudra works in the Kolkata branch of West Bengal Doordarshan.

Lopamudra Sinha gave an update on his health on Facebook. He said that during live news, my BP went down considerably and I fainted. I was feeling ill for a long time. I thought that drinking some water would cure it but it did not happen at that time.

Fainted due to BP problem

She said that I never sit with water to read the news, whether the news is of 10 minutes or half an hour. I pointed to the floor manager and asked for a bottle of water, but while I was unconscious, the story was going on so I couldn't drink water. Regarding the accident that happened to her in the studio, she further said that I thought that I could finish the remaining four news stories. Somehow I completed two.

Fainted while reading news of heat wave

Lopamudra said that the third story was about heatwave and while reading it, I slowly started feeling dizzy. I thought I could pull it off and I tried to control myself, but suddenly I couldn't see anything, the teleprompter lights dimmed and there was darkness before my eyes.

It is noteworthy that mercury has been a cause of trouble in West Bengal since the beginning of April. Here, Panagarh in Burdwan district recorded the state's highest temperature (42.5 degrees Celsius), while the IMD has predicted that other areas of South Bengal will see more heat in the next two to three days.
