Dehradun, 21 November (HS). Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) Vice Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari on Thursday reviewed various projects of the authority including CM Helpline 1905 and issued necessary guidelines to the officials.
In the review meeting held in the Authority Auditorium, the Vice President reviewed the CM Helpline 1905 and expressed satisfaction over its progress. However, the Vice President directed the officials to take expeditious action on the pending complaints of 1905. In these cases, people concerned should be talked to on telephone and informed about the progress so far.
During this, the Vice President also reviewed the ongoing work in ISBT along with the Arhat Bazar project. He directed that CCTV cameras should be installed in the entire ISBT campus. Along with this, instructions were also given to do Fasad work in Pahari style. Apart from this, instructions were also given for better cleanliness in the premises.
The Vice President gave instructions to create land banks at other places on the lines of land banks in Shahpur and Kalyanpur of Vikasnagar. In the review meeting, the Vice President also expressed satisfaction over the progress in disposal of maps.
Take action against illegal construction-
During this, the Vice President gave instructions to take action against illegal construction and illegal plating. It is noteworthy that after taking charge of the authority, strict action is being taken against illegal construction and illegal plating on his part. Recently, due to the festive season, the pace of that work has slowed down a bit. In such a situation, the authority again instructed the engineers of all sectors to expedite this matter. He also gave instructions to fix sector-wise mitigation targets.
Vice President MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari said that today a review meeting of various projects of the authority as well as the CM Helpline was held and necessary instructions were issued to the officials. There will be no laxity regarding illegal constructions. Special instructions have been given to the engineers for this.”
