Bihar Sharif, August 3 (HS). Diarrhea patients have started being found in Harnaut block of Nalanda district. 5 new patients were found on Saturday. ANM Meena Kumari working in Additional Primary Health Center Gonawan said that five patients have been found affected by diarrhea in Mushari West area. These include Bipin (28), Shivrani (17), Satyam (10), Amarjeet (07) and Radha Rani (02). She said that all these patients are from Majhi family.
Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Sinha, Medical Officer in charge of Primary Health Center Harnaut, said that the medical team went on the spot and provided first aid. The condition of the patients is under control. Dr. Anirudh Prasad, World Health Organization block monitor Rajiv Ranjan, Manoj Kumar and other members were present in the team. The condition of the patients is improving and the situation is being constantly monitored.
He has appealed to the general public to take care of hygiene and immediately contact the nearest health center if any symptoms of any kind of disease are seen. The sudden increase in diarrhea cases has increased the concern of the health department. To deal with this problem, the administration has decided to run an awareness campaign in the area so that people can be told about the importance of cleanliness and diseases like diarrhea can be prevented.
