Lucknow, 25 August (HS). Thaddi festival was celebrated with great pomp among the families of Sindhi community in Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reached the residence of former Vice President of Sindhi Academy Nanak Chand Lakhmani and congratulated him. The Deputy Chief Minister also tasted the dishes prepared on the festival and encouraged him by participating in the satsang.

At the residence of former vice president Nanak Chand, member of Legislative Council Mukesh Sharma, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, BJP Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi, former Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, Child Protection Commission member Anita Aggarwal and many other dignitaries congratulated on the occasion of Thaddi festival and celebrated the festival by tasting cold dishes.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that to celebrate the Thaddi festival, everyone gathered at Nanak Chand's residence and tasted cold dishes together. This festival promotes mutual harmony.
