New Delhi : Delhi Police has made strict security arrangements for the United Kisan Morcha rally to be held at Ramlila Maidan on Monday. The Special Branch has been alerted in this regard. Apart from Delhi Police, a large number of paramilitary personnel will also be deployed for security.
Apart from all the police station heads of the central district, the inspectors of other districts have also been assigned the duty. Along with this, the high officials will keep a constant watch on the rally.
The traffic police has also issued a traffic advisory regarding the rally and urged drivers to refrain from using the roads around Ramlila Maidan, especially Delhi Gate to Ajmeri Gate Chowk and JLN Marg.
Avoid the roads around Ramlila Maidan
The general public has also been asked to avoid using the roads around Ramlila Maidan, otherwise they may have to face jam. About 15-20 thousand farmers are likely to participate in the rally of the United Kisan Morcha. Farmers will start coming to Ramlila Maidan from the midnight of 19th March.
Adequate number of police force will be deployed inside and outside Ramlila Maidan. Along with this, monitoring will also be done through CCTV cameras. PCR has also been alerted.
The police officer says that the organizers have been given conditional permission for the rally. Delhi Police will take strict action against any kind of mischief makers and those who take law into their own hands. Where farmers will be allowed to park their vehicles, they will park their vehicles there.
If any road has to be diverted due to the crowd, it will be done. Farmers have been instructed to remain disciplined and keep their demands in the rally.
