140 players from teams from Agra, Jhansi, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Aligarh, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Meerut, Dervpatan, Chitrakoot Dham, Saharanpur, Mirzapur and Moradabad participated in freestyle wrestling.
