Lucknow, July 15 (HS). The Basic Education Department of the Uttar Pradesh government has put in all its efforts to make the children of council schools smart and efficient. Children are not only being made smart through digital means but are also being made proficient in many subjects through apps like 'Diksha'.
In this innovative experiment being conducted under the leadership of Azamgarh's District Basic Education Officer Rajeev Pathak, special progress can be seen in the council schools of Azamgarh headquarters and Maharajganj development block. The children here have learnt the things they have seen through these apps in the smart class and have also developed an understanding of subjects like language, mathematics, science and geography.
Technical bugs being fixed
To make children 'smart', 'Diksha', 'Read Along and Nipun Lakshya App' are being used, while in the school, positive discussions are being held with the teachers regarding the digital register. Teachers are also being encouraged to fill online attendance. This work is being done smoothly under the leadership of BSA Kaushambi.
In many districts of the state including Noida, teachers are being told about the benefits of 'digital attendance'. Apart from this, technical flaws are being resolved by contacting the council teachers.
On the instructions of the District Basic Education Officer of the respective districts, all the BEOs are visiting schools in their respective areas. If there are any technical issues, they are getting them resolved immediately. Teachers are being told that the teacher is the creator and also the protector of the universe. Therefore, the use of digital registers is one of the priorities. Imagine, when paper will not be used in the 01,33,588 council primary, upper primary, composite and Kasturba Gandhi girls schools of the state.
