Case registered against alleged journalist and blackmailer and his henchmen


Kanpur, 12 May (HS). On the complaint of a constable in Harbans Mohal police station, a case of death threat and illegal extortion has been registered against the alleged journalist and blackmailer and his henchmen. Inspector in-charge Harbans Mohal Lalit Kumar gave information in this regard on Sunday.

Deepak Sikarwar, a constable posted at Harbans Mohal police station, filed a complaint on May 11 alleging that he had an argument with some journalists on April 25 while on law and order duty. In this regard, fabricated and false news is being circulated against him on social media. After this, on the evening of 7th May, while going towards Narona intersection, first Mohit Saini from Mazar called on his mobile and second call was made by Neeraj Sonkar who, giving his name as Neeraj Sonkar, threatened that he would not be allowed to get a job in Kanpur.

He also said that he will be implicated in some major crime like robbery, murder or rape and will be sent to jail. If you want to get a job in Harbans Mohal police station, then pay ten thousand rupees and this amount will have to be paid every month. Not only this, the caller also threatened to kill me in the end. Due to which he got upset and filed a complaint to file a case. Taking the matter seriously, the police on Saturday registered a case against Mohit Saini and Neeraj Sonkar under various sections and started investigation.
