Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya met the families of Binsar forest fire victims and gave them cheques for financial assistance

Almora, June 17 (HS). Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya reached village Sauda Bhetuli Ayarpani of Someshwar. Where she met the bereaved families of the workers who lost their lives and those injured in the forest fire incident in Binsar area a few days ago and consoled them and expressed her condolences.

He said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took immediate cognizance of the said incident and referred the injured to AIIMS Delhi and gave them proper compensation. Along with this, strict action was taken against the guilty officers. He also distributed cheques of financial assistance to the families of the deceased and injured PRD jawans.

Expressing grief over the incident, the cabinet minister said that the state government stands with the affected families. Efforts have been made to provide them every possible help. He said that those injured in the forest fire have been referred to Delhi AIIMS so that they can get better treatment.

The Cabinet Minister also distributed cheques of financial assistance of Rs 1.50 lakh to the family of the deceased PRD Jawan and Rs 50,000 to the family of the injured PRD Jawan. He also told the family that the dependents of the deceased will be given jobs.
