Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, who came to Jhansi on Friday to inaugurate the tourism exhibition organized on World Tourism Day, said that the heritage of Bundelkhand, especially the forts, will be developed on the lines of Rajasthan. Shehnai will be played there and big events will also be organised.

Tourism Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Jaiveer Singh, who came to Jhansi to inaugurate the exhibition organized on World Tourism Day at Pandit Deendayal Auditorium on Friday, while discussing with the media, said that the government in Uttar Pradesh is continuously taking action against the land mafia. Land mafia illegally occupying any government or non-government land will not be spared.

He said that to speed up the development of tourism in Bundelkhand, work is being done with Rs 78 thousand crores. Apart from this, tender will also be given to develop the heritage sites like stepwells, wells and especially forts established in Bundelkhand, these will be developed soon.

He said that just as auspicious programs and big events are organized in the historical forts of Bundelkhand and Jhansi by the outside tourists in Rajasthan, similarly similar events will be organized here soon. For this, work is being done here. Due to this, if foreigners and tourists come here, they will have the facility to stay in the fort for ten to fifteen days, get food and drink etc. and get a home like environment. During this, Sadar MLA Ravi Sharma, District Panchayat President Pawan Kumar Gautam and officials of the district administration were present.
