Lucknow, 26 April (Hindustan Reporter) BSP workers of Cantt Assembly campaigned for Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Sarwar Malik in Lucknow on Friday. Cantt workers appealed to vote for BSP candidate Sarwar after Friday prayers at Takiya Wali Masjid.
BSP's Cantt Assembly in-charge Karan Patel, Assembly Speaker Gangaram Verma, Secretary Mohammad Raju, party workers along with local worker Tariq reached outside the Takiya Wali Mosque. As soon as the prayers were over, he entered the mosque and distributed campaign papers in favor of BSP candidate Sarwar Malik and appealed for voting. After distributing campaign papers for some time, BSP workers moved ahead.
Assembly workers engaged in campaigning for the BSP candidate said that their candidate Sarwar Malik is the only Muslim face. The Muslim community in Lucknow currently wants to choose a leader from among them. While distributing campaign papers after Friday prayers, he appealed to vote for the BSP candidate and people responded very well.
