Booking starts, launch on January 17, know features and range

Hyundai has started booking its new electric SUV Creta EV.
Customers can book it with a token amount of ₹25,000.
This car will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on January 17, 2025.
However, the company has not yet started booking its base executive trim.

What is the difference between Creta and Creta EV?

  • Based on base model:
    • The Hyundai Creta EV is based on the existing ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variants.
  • Design changes:
    • The design of the Creta EV is quite similar to the Creta.
    • But it has been given updates like shut-off bumper grille, active air flaps, and new skid plate.
  • Premium Look:
    • The pixel theme design of the car makes it as premium as Hyundai’s other electric vehicles.

        • 58 minutes to charge from 10 to 80%.
      • AC Wall Box Unit:
        • 4 hours to charge from 10 to 100%.
  2. Speed:
    • Creta EV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds.
    • This is faster than the Creta N Line DCT (8.9 seconds).
