Bomb threat sent to Indore Mental Hospital through email, uproar ensues

Indore, June 12 (HS). The mental hospital located at Banganga in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh has received a bomb threat. There was a stir in its department. The police and BDS team had to investigate for hours. The threat was given through e-mail on Wednesday. The email has been sent simultaneously to many big hospitals across the country.

Indore Zone-3 DCP Pankaj Pandey said that on Wednesday morning at around 9:40 am, an email was sent to Indore Mental Hospital@gmail.com. In this three-line email, it was written that a bomb has been placed inside the hospital. It will explode soon and everyone will die. When the management called the police control room and informed them, the officers were shocked. Immediately Banganga police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and searched the entire hospital.

Banganga police station in-charge Lokesh Singh Bhadoria said that the e-mail has been sent to about 30 big hospitals of the country.

It is noteworthy that in the last one month, such threatening emails have been received at many schools, hospitals, colleges and airports in the country.
