BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary surrounded, sloganeering fiercely

Bareilly, 08 April (HS). There was a huge uproar at the office of Bharat Seva Trust of former Union Minister and 8-time MP Santosh Gangwar in Bareilly on Monday night. BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, who had reached here, was surrounded by a crowd of hundreds. During this there was a lot of uproar and sloganeering also took place. Actually, people were angry because the ticket of eight-time MP Santosh Gangwar was canceled. Angry people also alleged that Bareilly Mayor has insulted MP Santosh Gangwar.

Prime Minister's public meeting is to be held in Pilibhit on Tuesday, for this BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Choudhary had reached here. As soon as he reached here, people started creating ruckus by shouting slogans. Santosh Gangwar himself somehow removed Bhupendra Chaudhary from among his supporters who were creating ruckus. Creating ruckus, people became adamant on demanding the resignation of the Mayor. He said that if the mayor did not resign, he would boycott the elections.

Akhilesh Yadav also targeted this discord in BJP before the PM's rally by posting on social media platform X. He wrote, “Not only in Uttar Pradesh but in the entire country, dissatisfaction is boiling within the BJP. In a recent case, the UP BJP President was surrounded by BJP workers in the office of BJP MP in Bareilly city of Uttar Pradesh because his own BJP mayor had said very objectionable and indecent words towards the Kurmi community. For similar reasons, across the country, the Kshatriya-Thakur-Rajput community is taking a pledge by raising Ganga water or taking oath on the Mother Goddess to defeat the BJP. BJP is losing everywhere in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The public will break the arrogance of BJP.”

Creating ruckus, people in the crowd said that this is a matter of our prestige, we boycott the elections.

Bareilly Lok Sabha seat is considered the stronghold of BJP. From the first elections in 1952 till the elections of 2019, this seat was dominated by BJP. Although in the past Congress also won the seat from here, but in the last three decades, BSP and SP could not even open their account on this seat.
