Two youths riding a bike were injured when they collided with the police escort vehicle included in the convoy of Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday afternoon while returning from Dhusad, forest of Pipraich in Gorakhpur. Both were sent to BRD Medical College, where they are undergoing treatment. The speeding police escort vehicle also went out of control and entered a shop after this collision. After this the car collided with a tree and stopped. The security personnel sitting in the vehicle had a narrow escape.
The incident took place at Lala Bazar, Haiderganj turn on Padri Bazar Road in Pipraich area. After the accident, angry people came on the road and tried to block the road. But the police did not allow the jam to take place. After this the Governor’s convoy moved ahead towards the city.
According to the information, Governor Anandiben Patel has reached Gorakhpur on a two-day visit. She had reached the Anganwadi center located in Jangal Dhushad of Pipraich area on Tuesday after attending the convocation ceremony of Madanmohan Malviya Engineering University. After attending this program, the Governor was coming to the city at around 3.30 pm. Before his convoy arrived, road zero i.e. traffic was completely stopped. Meanwhile, two youths riding a bike suddenly arrived at Lala Bazar, Haiderganj turn located on Pipraich-Padri Bazar Road.
The police tried to stop them but they suddenly came from the street to the main road. Then he collided head-on with the speeding vehicle of the police escort at the front of the convoy coming from the front. The speed of the police car was also very fast. Due to this, the vehicle went out of control and crashed into a tree, breaking a roadside shop. Bike riders Pravesh (21) and Monu Nishad (23) were seriously injured in the accident. Both are residents of Jungle Dhushan Kakarhiya. The police sent both of them to the hospital.
Loss of twenty thousand rupees in the shop

It was fortunate that no one was present in the shop at that time. Lalchand says that his Gumti was damaged and there is a loss of about twenty thousand rupees.
