The name of that fan is Faiz Asraf Ali.

Faiz Asraf Ali started his journey on 15 August 2022 and it took him two years to reach Paris after passing through 17 countries. His aim was to 'spread peace and unity by cycling from India to London'. On the afternoon of 1 August 2023, in Budapest, when he came to know that Neeraj Chopra was also staying there, he fulfilled his wish of meeting his idol.

Fais Asraf Ali said that Neeraj advised him that 'if you are going to London, then come to Paris and watch the Olympics too.' On Neeraj's advice, Ali changed his plan and prepared to go to the Paris Olympics. He got a visa and then left for Paris from Britain.

It is worth mentioning that Faiz Asraf Ali reached Paris by cycling more than 22 thousand kilometers in 2 years from Calicut in Kerala, crossing 30 countries. After which Faiz Asraf Ali has now reached Paris. He has also shared a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower on his Instagram.

Ali travels carrying 50 kg of weight

Faisal Asraf carried 50 kilograms of luggage during his journey. This included clothes, a tent, a sleeping bag and a mat. He said that instead of staying in hotels, he took help from sponsors he met along the way.

Asraf faced many difficulties during his journey but he did not lose courage. He visited many countries and met many people during his journey. Cricket stars Chris Gayle, Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina in Britain also praised Ali's journey.
