BHU's 104th convocation will be held on December 14, preparations begin – News India Live | News India

Varanasi, 21 August (HS). Preparations have begun for the 104th convocation of Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The convocation will be held on 14 December at Swatantrata Bhawan in the university campus. The chief guest of the ceremony will be Jai Chaudhary, founder, chairman and CEO of the world's leading cloud security company Zyscaler. The convocation will begin at 9.30 am.

According to the Public Relations Officer of Banaras Hindu University, Jai Choudhary is an alumnus of BHU. He received a B.Tech degree in Electronic Engineering from the University's Institute of Technology (now IIT BHU) in 1980.

Jai Chaudhary is credited with making significant contributions to the field of cloud security through his innovative work. His company Zscaler is one of the world's leading companies in cloud security. It helps companies and government agencies in more than 185 countries of the world to deal with cyber challenges and threats of data theft. Zscaler helps in maintaining quick secure connection between users and applications. Even if they are using any device, location or network. Jai Chaudhary had started many prominent companies before Zscaler. These include Secure IT, CoreHarbor, Cipher Trust, Air Defense. Jai Chaudhary has obtained MBA and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He has completed the Executive Management Program from Harvard Business School. According to the Public Relations Officer, BHU Gold Medal for the academic session 2023-24 will also be awarded from the main stage during the 104th convocation. Apart from this, degrees will be awarded to the successful students in 2023-24 in the degree distribution ceremony organized in the institutes and faculties.
