Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in West Bengal calling a Sikh officer Khalistani is an insult to Sikhs

Chandigarh: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa calling a Sikh officer posted in West Bengal a Khalistani by Bharatiya Janata Party leaders shows inferiority towards Sikhs. Randhawa said that this has hurt the hearts of the Sikhs who sacrificed 90 percent for the country's independence.

This has strengthened the Sikh community. Randhawa has appealed to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to take strict action against such anti-national elements of the Bharatiya Janata Party and to give justice to the Sikh officer posted there.

Randhawa asked Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda to keep a close watch on such elements so that in future no one can do such heinous acts with Sikh officers serving in different parts of the country. Kishan Chandra Mahajan, a senior Congress leader and very close to Randhawa Saheb's family, gave this information to the media.
