Let us tell you, according to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), you will have to give PUC certificate while renewing the insurance of vehicles. According to the law, if you are driving a vehicle, then you cannot drive without third party insurance. At the same time, based on a Supreme Court judgment, IRDAI has issued an order that no company shall insure a vehicle unless it has a valid PUC certificate on the date of policy renewal.
