Auto mechanic who came to save his son in Meerut was beaten to death

Meerut, May 25 (HS). An auto mechanic who came to save his son from a deadly attack in Gulista Garden of Lisadi Gate police station area on Friday after midnight was beaten to death by the attackers. The police sent the body for post-mortem and started investigation.

Javed, a resident of Gulista Garden in Lisadi Gate police station area, was standing outside his house late Friday night due to the scorching heat. Just then, his neighbor Zuber was coming on a bicycle listening to songs with earphones in his ears. The wheel of Zuber's bicycle went into the drain and dirty water from the drain splashed on Javed's face. When Javed protested against this, he had an argument with Zuber. When the matter escalated, the people around pacified him. After this, Zuber reached his house and after midnight, he reached Javed's house with his companions, carrying weapons. Zuber and his companions dragged Javed out of the house and attacked him with sticks and rods. Hearing the noise, Javed's father auto mechanic Tohid, maternal uncle Irfan, brother Abid, Firoz, Saroj etc. came out of the house and opposed the attackers. At this, the accused attacked Javed's father Tohid. After this, the accused beat auto mechanic Tohid to death. While Javed, Irfan, Abid, Firoz, Saroj, Amina etc. were seriously injured in this attack. After this the accused fled.

The police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital. The police sent the body for post-mortem and took two accused into custody. According to the police, the matter is being investigated.
