Asia Cup winner will be declared today, final match between India and Sri Lanka today

Colombo: The final match of the Asia Cup will be played between India and Sri Lanka on Sunday at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Both these teams finished in the top two positions in the Super-4 round. India last won this tournament in 2018, while Sri Lanka will face the challenge of defending its title.

Strength

India: The biggest strength of the Indian team is its batting and in this tournament the top batsmen showed their strength against Pakistan and Nepal.

– Team captain Kuldeep Yadav is in excellent form and has taken nine wickets so far.

– Jasprit Bumrah is leading the fast bowling attack and Mohammed Siraj is also with him. Shardul had shown his strength in the last match against Bangladesh also.

Sri Lanka: The final match is to be held in Colombo and Sri Lanka will get the advantage of playing on its home ground in the presence of fans.

-Sri Lankan spinners Asalanka and Velalage are in good form and took a total of nine wickets in the last match against India.

– Kusal Mendis and Sadira Samarawickrama have impressed a lot with their batting.

India: – The Indian team has failed to perform well in big matches for the last few years.

Sri Lanka:

-Experienced spinner Mahesh Tikshana not being available in the final match due to injury is a matter of concern.

– There is a lack of experienced players in the team due to which the Sri Lankan team has been able to win many easy matches with difficulty.
