Lucknow, 13 May (HS). The fourth phase of voting is taking place on 13 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh. Not even a few hours after voting, complaints of EVM malfunctioning started being received from the voting districts.

Voting has not started yet due to EVM malfunction at Barkheda booth number 91 of Farrukhabad. Whereas there are long queues of voters. Similarly, voting has not started yet due to technical problem at booth number 425 in Chhibramau of Kannauj Lok Sabha, EVM malfunction in Samdhan, EVM at booth number 93 of Vidhuna Assembly and municipal model booth 183 of Lakhimpur Kheri.

Complaints are being received about EVM malfunction at booth number 200 in Kheri-Banveerpur, EVM at booth number 272 in Hardoi district, EVM malfunction at booth number 400 in Bharthana of Etawah Lok Sabha. Voting could not start yet due to EVM malfunction at some places. The administration is trying to keep the voting going smoothly by repairing or replacing the EVMs. At the same time, Samajwadi Party has complained to the Election Commission about EVM malfunction.
