News India Live, Digital Desk: A relief news has come today for the children and their parents waiting for admission in Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools across the country. National Testing Agency i.e. NTA by All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2026) For ‘Exam City Intimation Slip’ Has been issued.

What is the difference between City Intimation Slip and Admit Card?
First of all, let us clarify one thing so that there is no confusion. Many times parents consider this to be the real admit card, but it is not so. This is just an ‘advance information’ about the city in which your child’s exam will be held. NTA does this so that if a student’s center is far away, the family can make arrangements for travel or accommodation in advance. Your ‘Admit Card’ will be issued separately a few days before the examination.

How can you see the exam city?
If you have also filled your child’s form this year, then you can visit its official website. aissee.nta.nic.in You can check the details by visiting. For this you just need these two things:

1. Child’s application number.
2. His date of birth.

As soon as you fill this information, the name of the exam city will appear on the screen.

Update regarding exam date
As already decided, this examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode (on OMR sheets) at various centers across the country. The competition among lakhs of children is tough, because Sainik Schools are considered not just for discipline but for service to the country and the foundation of a bright future.

A little advice for parents
As soon as you see the city slip, check the center distance. If you are out of town, make travel arrangements in advance keeping the winter season in mind. Last minute rushing can increase the pressure on the child. Admit card will also be loaded on the site soon, downloading which is very important, because without it you will not be able to enter the center.
