Pak terrorist died: Unknown gunmen killed Amir Hamza, a retired brigadier of the Pakistani army and an important ISI man, late on Monday night in Pakistan's Punjab. Hamza was believed to be involved in ISI-led operations against India. And he was the mastermind of the terrorist attack on the Sunjwan Army Camp in Jammu and Kashmir in 2018. Six soldiers were martyred in this attack. Also, more than 12 were injured.
Pakistani police said it was a targeted killing
Another terrorist involved in the same attack was killed last November. Army commander Khwaja Shahid alias Mian Mujahid was the main conspirator. His severed head was found near the LoC in PoK. According to media reports, Hamza's wife and daughter were also in the car with him. And they were also injured. Police have said that the slain ISI agent had no personal enmity with anyone. Pakistani police said it was a targeted killing.
This attack happened in Jhelum district of Punjab
The attack took place in Jhelum district of Punjab. Hamza's car was attacked by four unidentified people riding two bikes. Pakistani media reported that the car had just reached Jhelum's Leela interchange when four people riding two bikes surrounded it from both sides and started firing indiscriminately. Pakistan police told local media, “We are investigating the murder.”
Pakistani terrorists are being killed continuously
It is worth noting that Pakistani terrorists involved in ISI-sponsored terror attacks in India are being killed continuously. Earlier in early April, Amir Sarfaraz was shot dead. Apart from this, unidentified people also killed Lashkar-e-Taiba's top commander Adnan Ahmed alias Abu Hanzala in Karachi in December. Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Shahid Latif was the main operator of the fidayeen squad that attacked the Pathankot airbase in 2016. He was killed by unidentified attackers in a mosque in Sialkot in October.
